Navigating Yealink USB Connect

When your headset is detected, you will see the below screen. 
Click the device you wish to manage: 

 


If you see the below error that says "No device connected," check that your headset base is connected to your PC directly or through a docking station via USB cable. 
Also check the cable connected to your computer is in the USB port on the headset base labeled "PC".

Device Status

The status page will provide you with all of the current information about your device.




Device Settings

This section is where you can change all sorts of specifics with your device.
Mike sensitivity, headset volume, ringtones for soft phone calls, and many more.
There are new settings being added every time Yealink updates their USB Connect software, so expect this page to change periodically. 
  1. If you headset battery life is not lasting through the workday, consider lowering the Wireless Range in Advanced Settings to Medium or Short if you do not move far from your base station while using.

Update Device

Here, you can update your device's firmware.
If a firmware update is available, you will see a red dot by "Update Device".
This is HIGHLY recommended before first time use.
This can also be useful to check if your device begins to have issues.




Device Support

Here, there are tools to collect app logs, as well as feedback links.
Always reach out to Ally Support for initial troubleshooting. 

Device Recovery

Here you can reboot and reset your device to factory settings. This can be useful if you are experiencing unknown issues with your headset. 




App Settings 

To get to App Settings, click the cog wheel in the top right corner of the window


Software Settings

Ensure "Update Notification" is checked so when the app detects a new firmware version is available, it will notify you to update.
 

Softphone Settings

Support for softphone devices. If Teams is detected on the PC, it will automatically select "PC Softphone Teams"



If you are having issues using your headset with ConnectUC calling, close the USB Connect application completely.
Our engineers are engaged with Yealink to resolve this issue affecting app version 4.40.10.0

Device Management Platform 

Enter the Ally Communications enterprise ID b35zrasg to connect the app to our remote management platform. 
Having this information makes troubleshooting much easier for you and us!
It allows us to push or rollback firmware, prompt reboots or factory defaults, as well as provide additional information on the headset. 

If you are connected to our platform, the fields (other than Local Name) will be greyed out.
