Alert
We recommend that you use the included accessories because other accessories may have compatibility issues that prevent them from working properly.

How to Connect the WH63 E2


  1. Busy Light Port

  2. DC Port for Power Adapter
  3. Type C USB port for PC connection
    1. Supports power delivery
    2. Must be connected to update firmware and adjust settings via Yealink USB Connect
  4. AUX Mini USB port for Non-Yealink Third-Party Desk Phone connection
    1. Use with a telephone cable (optional add-on, not included)
  5. Type C USB port for Yealink Desk Phone connection
    1. Use the included USB C to USB A cable to connect to the pack of your Yealink phone or sidecar.
They have a label on each port for the type of connection to connect where, but you may also reference the picture above to see which port to connect devices to.

Charging the Headset

Before the first use when the headset is brand new, it is recommended to charge the headset for at least 30 minutes.



1. Connect the base to the power supply.
2. Dock the headset earpiece to the base.
  1. When the middle USB-C port is connected to a PC, the PC can provide power, allowing the headset to be docked on the base for charging. Ensure the connected device's USB port is USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 standard with a power supply capacity of up to 500mA. Alternatively, use a powered USB hub or the included power adapter.
  2. In case the headset is under a low battery for initial use, dock it to the charging base for 30 minutes.
  3. For the initial use, the headset is successfully paired with the base when you dock it in the base.
  4. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge the headset fully, and the LED glows a solid green after it is fully charged.
When you put the headset on the base station, you should feel the headset magnet to the base. Also, you can check the charging indicator on the headset to judge whether it is correctly installed.



Headset Wearing Styles

 The WH63 E2 comes with four accessories:
  1. shark fin ear tips
  2. ear hook
  3. headband
  4. neckband (optional add-on, not included)

 




This headset comes with the ability to use an eartip to seat comfortably in your ear, a headband that goes over the head, an ear clip that goes around the ear.
(optional add-on: a neckband that goes around your neck)

Power On/Off the Earpiece

Power on Headset

Do one of the following:
  1. Press and hold Call Control button for 3 seconds.
  2. Power on the base and dock the headset in the base.

You can hear the prompt "power on" tone in the earpiece indicating headset status.

Power off Headset

Undock the headset and hold the Call Control button for 3 seconds.


You can hear the prompt "power off" tone in the earpiece indicating headset status.




If you connect your headset to your computer, you can manage the headset by updating firmware and changing some of the features such as how it rings, etc.
