  1. SMS-enabled numbers can be assigned to a ReachUC Plus user, email address, CloudMessage, Chatbot, or a URL for custom integrations or third-party applications.

  4. ReachuC Plus allows several additional features, the most important are:
    1. Outbound SMS (basic can do inbound)
    2. Update answer rules
    3. Call Through (GSM) to avoid service quality issues caused by a weak data signal
    4. Callback  (to GSM) to avoid service quality issues caused by a weak data signal

    6. Send a FAX
    7. Softphone for Windows and MAC

SMS using ReachUC Plus

  1. Primary Number Assignment
    1. All new threads will use the Primary SMS number
    2. Multiple SMS-enabled phone numbers can be assigned to a single ReachUC Plus user
    3. If the number's primary assignment is to the ReachUC user, the number will be available as a Primary SMS number
    4. The Primary SMS number can be changed in the app settings
    5. The Smart Source feature allows the user to reply using the same phone number that was sent the SMS
  2. Copy-To Assignment
    1. ReachUC Plus users may reply to any message sent to that number so long as they are using the Smart Source feature
    2. ReachUC Plus users may not start select this number as the Primary Number or start a new thread using that number

Send and Receive SMS by email

  1. Assigning an SMS-enabled phone number is a billable service. Please email sales@allyadvantage.com for a quote.
  2. SMS can only be sent via email when the SMS-enabled number is set directly to the email user
  3. We can use the copy-to routing option to send copies to other email addresses and ReachUC users
  4. Users can reply to SMS messages just as they would an email
    1. For replies, content below the quoted message line will not be sent - so don't worry about deleting anything below that line
  5. Users may initiate an outbound SMS to a phone number by addressing the email to xxxxxxxxxx@msg.reachuc.com where ‘xxxxxxxxxx’ is the destination phone number.

  1. Don't see the From Box as seen above? See Setting the From field to send messages from the shared mailbox
