Adjusting Time Frames

This KBA will assist with setting up Holiday time frames and changing existing time frames.


You may always access the Ally Voice portal and our Help articles on our website at www.allyadvantage.com. 

Begin by logging into the Ally Voice Portal. Note that you need to be an Office Manager to be able to adjust the time frames for the domain.

Step 1 Getting to Time Frames:

Click on the Time Frame tab:


Step 2 Opening the time frame:

On the time frame page you will notice all the time frames that have been added to your domain. Choose the one you'd like to edit and either click on the name (1) or the pencil (2) to edit the time frame:


Step 3 Adjusting dates and times:

Specific Dates or Ranges Time Frame

Take note that the time frames you can add dates to are labeled as SPECIFIC DATES OR RANGES (1)


1. Specific Dates or Ranges is selected
2. Click on the green + to add more dates
3. Click the calendar icon to add a date. Note the sliders at the bottom to change the hours and minutes. 
4. Clicking the red - will remove that date.
NOTE: If adding a RANGE of dates, you will need to move the slider on the right side to 11:59PM. Or to the end of Business on the final day. See picture below:


Days and Times Time Frame


To adjust a "Days and Times" recurring time frame, use the slider bar to extend or shorten it.
EX - Business Hours



Step 4 Answering Rules:

If you are creating a new time frame, you will need to add an answering rule to the user or routing user that needs to have that time frame.
