Change Windows Audio to Mono

Yealink WH63 PC Single Channel Audio - Change Windows Audio to Mono

The WH63 is a mono headset, so audio files played from a PC that are stereo will only produce a single track in the audio file. To get around this, you can set Windows Ease of Access settings to combine the left and right audio channels into one channel. This also has the effect of improving audio quality when using the WH63 as the default audio device.

  1. Launch Settings by clicking Start, then the cogwheel as seen below, or use the 'Win + I' keyboard shortcut

  2. Click Ease of Access

  3. Click Audio in the navigation pane

  4. Click the toggle to Turn on mono audio
