What does this app do?

The current beta iteration of the HostiFi Device Discovery Tool is essentially our replacement for the old Ubiquiti Discovery Tool. So at the core, it is designed to help you find Ubiquiti devices ready to be adopted on your local network. These are the current features:

  • Find and discover local Ubiquiti devices
  • Adopt UniFi devices to a controller with one simple click

Adoption

If the new device does not come up for adoption in your app or web portal, then you will need to connect to the same network and run the HostiFi app.
When prompted, enter the inform URL - http://unifi.allywifi.com:8080/inform
You may get an error, but still check and see if the device is showing for adoptoin.
