Most devices will only support 1Gb connections, but some newer devices support 2.5Gb Ethernet and above

You will almost always need to connect to a SFP+ port using a RJ45 adapter

Fiber connection used to uplink to AT&T's fiber network using a SFP+ connector, typically connected to LC fiber connectors.
ONT
Ethernet connection used to uplink to AT&T equipment.
