Call Handling

Keys

Key Description

Blind Transfer
You can do the same thing with the TRAN physical button.

  1. Press the Option soft key during a call and select Blind Transfer.
  2. Enter the number/extension you would like to transfer the call to.
  3. Press the Transfer soft key.


Attended Transfer
You can do the same thing with the TRAN physical button.

  1. Press the Option soft key during a call and select Transfer
  2. Enter the number/extension you would like to transfer the call to.
  3. Press the Transfer soft key to dial out.
  4. Press the Transfer soft key after the call is answered.


Transfer Directly to Voicemail
You can do the same thing with the TRAN physical button.

  1. Press the Option soft key during a call and select Transfer
  2. Dial 7 and then enter the extension to the person whose voicemail you want to transfer the call to.
  3. Press the Transfer soft key.

Placing a call on Hold

  1. To place a call on Hold, press the OPTIONS soft key.
  2. Press the HOLD soft key.
  3. To resume to call press the RESUME soft key.


Parking and Retrieving a Parked Call

Park 1 is extension 721Park 2 is extension 722

  1. To park a call on Park 1: while on an active call, dial *721#.
  2. To pick up a parked call on Park 1: dial 721.


Call Forward

  1. Press the OK key to enter the main menu and select Call Features > Call Forward.
  2. Press up or down keys to highlight the desired line and press the OK soft key.
  3. Press up or down keys to highlight the desired forwarding type and press the OK soft key.
  1. Always – Incoming calls are forwarded immediately.
  2. Busy – Incoming calls are forwarded when the handset is busy.
  3. No Answer – Incoming calls are forwarded if they are not answered after a period of time.
  1. Select Enabled from the Status field.
  2. Enter the number to forward the incoming calls to in the Target field.
  3. Press the up or down keys to select the desired ring time to wait before forwarding (only for No Answer Forward) in the After Ring Time field.
  4. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.



Press this key to use the speakerphone

Press this key to access voicemail

Press this key to start/finish a transfer

Press this key to mute the microphone or a call

Press the navigation keys to move up/down/left/right

  1. Press during a call to adjust receiver volume of the headset/speakerphone
  2. Press when the phone is idle or ringing to adjust the ringer volume

Voicemail

When you have a message, the top right indicator light on the phone will light up.


  1. Press  or the dial *97.
  2. Enter your voicemail password when prompted. By default, this will by 3900.
  3. To listen to your voice messages, press 1. By default, new voicemails will play automatically.
  4. To listen to saved messages, press 2.
  5. To save a message, press 9.
  6. To delete a message, press 7.
  7. To change your mailbox settings, press 0.
  8. To go back to the previous menu, press *.
  9. When finished, hang up or press #.

Recording Your Voicemail Messages

  1. Call into your voicemail (see above steps).
  2. Press 0 for Mailbox Options
  3. Record your unavailable message. This is for when someone gets to your voicemail when you are not currently on another call
  4. Record your busy message. This is for when someone gets to your voicemail, and you are on DND or on another call.
